Role: Finance Analyst (6 month fixed-term contract, possible extension) Location: Remote Salary: up to £42,000
A leading national charity is looking to appoint a Finance Analyst to join its Finance Shared Service Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for an analytical finance professional who enjoys interpreting financial data, improving processes and supporting key business decisions.
Working closely with Finance Business Partners, Commercial Finance and senior stakeholders, you'll play a key role in financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting and continuous improvement initiatives across the organisation. This is a varied role offering exposure to finance transformation projects, reporting automation and business-wide process improvements.

Responsibilities
Produce financial analysis and management information to support business decision-making
Support the preparation of month-end reporting, forecasts and annual budgets
Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement
Develop and maintain financial dashboards and KPI reporting
Work closely with Finance Business Partners to support financial reviews
Drive process improvements, automation and reporting efficiencies across the finance function
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
Support finance systems projects and continuous improvement initiatives
Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business
Skills & Experience
Previous experience within a Finance Analyst or similar analytical finance role
Strong Excel skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse financial data
Experience using ERP systems such as Epicor or similar
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly
Experience of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
Process improvement mindset with a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies
Experience with Power BI would be advantageous
