Are you looking to build a long-term career in finance with a supportive employer that will invest in your development?We are recruiting for a Finance Administrator to join a collaborative finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who has completed, or is close to completing, their AAT Level 4 qualification and is looking to progress towards a professional accounting qualification.Working closely with Project Managers and Directors, you will play a key role in managing project finances, providing valuable financial insight, and helping to drive strong commercial performance across a range of exciting environmental and renewable energy projects.Key Responsibilities
Set up and manage project financial information, ensuring strong financial governance and control.
Support Project Managers and Directors with accurate financial reporting and analysis.
Monitor and review project performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and cash flow.
Lead monthly work-in-progress (WIP) reviews and provide recommendations to stakeholders.
Build strong relationships across the business and act as a trusted finance contact.
Deliver training and support to non-finance colleagues to improve financial understanding.
Produce high-quality financial and management reports.
Provide flexible finance support to the wider business as required.
What you'll need to succeed
AAT Level 4 qualified or in the final stages of completion.
Looking to continue studying towards a professional accounting qualification.
Strong Excel skills with confidence handling and analysing large datasets.
Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Ability to build relationships and confidently challenge where appropriate.
