Field Sales Executive – Foodservice Industry Location: Northwest England (Liverpool, Warrington, Preston & surrounding areas)

The Opportunity Are you a driven, energetic sales professional with a passion for food and hospitality?
We’re working with a market-leading foodservice supplier that is entering an exciting growth phase. With a strong reputation for quality and customer service, the business is now investing in expanding its field sales team.
This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of a high-potential territory that has not been fully developed in recent years, offering significant scope to build and grow a profitable client base. What You’ll Be Doing This is a field-based sales role combining new business development and account management responsibilities.
Visit 4–6 customers per day across your territory
Focus initially on 70% new business development
Build long-term relationships and grow existing accounts
Identify and maximise upselling opportunities
Work towards becoming the primary supplier to your customers
Manage quotations, pricing, and negotiations
Deliver against sales and profit targets
Collaborate with internal teams to provide innovative product solutions
You will be selling to a wide range of customers including restaurants, hotels, pubs, gastro pubs, and premium food venues, working directly with decision-makers such as head chefs, owners, managers, and buyers. Your Territory
Established region generating approximately £1.5 million turnover
Responsibility for around 35 active accounts
Opportunity to develop over 100 additional lower-spend accounts
Significant untapped growth potential
Support and Structure
Dedicated internal sales support for order processing
Structured 4–6 week onboarding programme
Ongoing training, sales meetings, and development
Autonomy to manage your own diary and territory strategy
What We’re Looking For Sales Experience:
Previous sales experience is preferred
Experience in field sales or managing a territory would be beneficial
Mindset
Self-motivated with a “business owner” mentality
Commercially aware and target-driven
Strong relationship-building skills with a consultative approach
Personality
Enthusiastic, positive, and resilient
Confident, personable, and professional
Competitive with a genuine desire to succeed
Reliability, honesty, and trustworthiness are essential. The Package
Basic salary of £38,000 – £40,000
Uncapped commission (realistic £8,000+ in year one)
Company car or Car allowance up to £400 per month plus fuel support card
21 days holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with service up to 5 years)
