About the Opportunity
We are seeking a talented Fabric Data Engineering Consultant to join a growing Microsoft data and AI consultancy. This is an exciting opportunity for a data professional who enjoys designing modern data platforms, building scalable solutions and helping organisations unlock the value of their data through advanced analytics and cloud technologies.
Working within a collaborative consulting environment, you will play a key role in delivering data transformation projects using modern Microsoft technologies, whilst continuing to develop your expertise across data engineering, analytics, AI and emerging cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, build and optimise data pipelines and ETL processes using Microsoft data technologies.
Develop scalable solutions for data ingestion, transformation and storage.
Create efficient, reusable Python code for data engineering workloads.
Support advanced analytics, machine learning and data modelling initiatives.
Work closely with stakeholders to deliver business-focused data solutions.
Research and adopt emerging cloud, data and AI technologies.
Essential Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Data Engineering.
Hands-on experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, Fabric and different Microsoft data technologies.
Exposure to Microsoft Fabric or a strong desire to develop expertise within the Fabric ecosystem.
Strong Python programming skills focused on data engineering and data processing.
Understanding of data modelling principles and the Kimball methodology.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
