For over a decade, our Payments Tribe — made up of cross-functional, autonomous squads — has powered secure, scalable payment processing for card-present and card-not-present (CNP) transactions in 36+ markets, helping millions of merchants grow, get paid, and thrive.
We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead and grow a team of talented engineers within our Payments domain, which is SumUp’s foundational product, underpinning everything else we do. You’ll collaborate closely with Product and Business partners to scale the backend systems behind SumUp’s global payments engine - securely processing millions of transactions daily and ensuring our merchants get paid quickly and reliably across all channels. Your work will directly impact the success and growth of millions of small businesses around the world.
