About The Team

The Seller Systems team is dedicated to empowering sellers and stakeholders at Stripe by streamlining and optimizing the selling process. This is a top priority for Stripe as it expands its enterprise revenue globally. We build tools and systems to make the end-to-end selling process across initial contact with customers, deal modeling, negotiation, approvals, contracting, onboarding, and activation absolutely world class. We are treating this area as an engineering problem from first-principles, implemented with a hybrid architecture of first party developed custom Stripe components inter-operating with third-party standard business components. Our vision is to be able to offer a single plane of glass experience to our Sellers at Stripe, to allow them to leverage AI through workflows that allow them to minimize overhead and increase their time on increasingly efficient selling.

The Contracting Platform team within Seller Systems owns the problem of capturing, codifying, and making all sell-side contracts searchable by all teams at Stripe. This is a critical problem for the business and powers problems as diverse as automated onboarding of new large users and deals onto Stripe, revenue recognition, regulatory compliance; to powering more intelligent Stripe renewals and deal closing.
