After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us.
With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers!

As Director of Board & Executive Hiring, you'll lead the team responsible for hiring Monzo's most senior leaders across Vice President, General Manager, Executive Committee and Board appointments. You'll partner directly with the Board, Executive Committee and senior People leaders to build the leadership teams that will take Monzo through its next stage of growth.
You'll personally lead on some of our most business-critical, confidential and high-impact Board, C-suite and Executive searches, while leading a high-performing team delivering exceptional leadership hiring across the business. Together, you'll ensure every senior leadership hire reflects the quality, ambition and pace of Monzo.
This is a highly strategic, high-trust role. You'll spend as much time empowering your team, aligning complex stakeholder groups and shaping long-term leadership plans as you do leading executive searches yourself.
Success in this role requires judgement, exceptional relationship management and the ability to influence at the very highest levels of the organisation.

You'll be a trusted adviser to the Board, Executive Committee and Chief People Officer, helping shape the leadership decisions that define Monzo's future. From organisational design and succession planning to executive hiring strategy and leadership capability, you'll influence far more than individual hiring decisions.

What you'll be working on
Lead Monzo's Board & Executive Hiring function
You'll set the vision, strategy and operating model for Board & Executive Hiring at Monzo, ensuring we continue to raise the bar for how we identify, assess and hire exceptional leaders.
You'll establish a culture of excellence across the team, creating clear standards for quality, stakeholder partnership and candidate experience, while continually evolving our approach through market insight, data and innovation.
You'll ensure our hiring strategy supports Monzo's long-term growth, enabling the business to proactively build the leadership capability it needs for the future.
