United Wholesale are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic apprentice to join our growing team in Glasgow. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to start their career in a finance role to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced wholesale environment, and work towards a recognised qualification. Acting as the first point of contact for customers and clients, responding to enquiries relating to orders and diary bookings
Printing and accurately matching invoices within the purchase ledger before processing and inputting them into the Open Accounts system
Managing supplier statements and maintaining effective communication with suppliers to resolve queries and ensure account accuracy
Working collaboratively with the Buying Department to verify that order details and costings are correct
Using the Venty document management system to update and maintain accurate records
Utilising InView to manage finance documentation and update customer account information
Using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, to support day-to-day administrative and financial tasks

Working hours:Monday to Friday, 9am - 5pm with 1 hour lunch break
29 days holiday
Progression routes available to other roles for example an account manager or helpdesk operator.
This vocational apprenticeship comprehensively supports your specific job role with this particular employer. Throughout your learning journey, you are fully supported by your dedicated QA skills coach and your mentor at work. They ensure you settle in, help you develop all the skills you need to be successful in your job role and pass your assessments, and can provide one to one support.

On completion, as well as the valuable work experience you have gained, you get a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6.
