DevOps SME - 1 year contract - Inside IR35

Your new company This is a prestigious financial services client with an office in central London.

Your new role The client is looking for someone who has a strong AWS background, can advise on architectural decisions whilst still being very hands-on, comfortable mentoring junior engineers and has previous experience/knowledge around quant/equities would be really beneficial.

What you'll need to succeed

Extensive hands-on experience designing, deploying, and scaling cloud environments on AWS across their full lifecycle

Strong command of AWS networking, security principles, and identity and access management

Advanced proficiency in Python, with a focus on automation and infrastructure-related tooling

Demonstrated ability to deliver infrastructure using code-driven approaches and fully automated delivery workflows

Confident translating architectural blueprints into practical, real-world implementations

Background in operating platforms that support large-scale data processing, analytics, or high-performance compute workloads
