This is an opportunity for a DevOps Engineer to work at the intersection of infrastructure engineering and AI technology within a high-performance environment. You will play a key role in building and scaling modern infrastructure platforms, with a particular focus on Kubernetes and on-premise environments that support business-critical workloads.

THE ROLE

As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing, building, and supporting infrastructure and deployment platforms across predominantly on-premise environments.

Specifically, you can expect to be involved in the following

Building and supporting Kubernetes platforms and containerised workloads

Developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions

Automating infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code using Puppet or Terraform

Managing Linux environments, including security, patching, performance, and systems administration

Creating automation solutions using Bash, Python, or PowerShell

Supporting software delivery, release management, and source control processes

Working closely with infrastructure, platform engineering, and business teams to deliver scalable solutions

Contributing to projects involving AI and high-performance infrastructure environments

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

The successful DevOps Engineer will have the following skills and experience

Strong commercial experience within DevOps, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering

Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deployment and administration

Proven experience working within on-premise infrastructure environments

Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Puppet or Terraform

CI/CD experience using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar technologies

Scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell

Experience using Git-based source control tools

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Experience working within Financial Services, Trading Technology or other regulated environments
