Data Scientist (SC Cleared)

SC Cleared Data Scientist - Contract Glasgow (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite) £650-£750 per day (Inside IR35) Contract until September

Morgan Hunt are working with a high-profile public sector organisation who require an SC Cleared Data Scientist to support a key programme of work through to September.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a data-driven transformation programme within a secure environment, working alongside experienced data, engineering and policy teams. The Role You will play a key role in delivering advanced analytics and data science solutions, helping to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities include

Developing and deploying predictive models and statistical analysis

Working with large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights

Collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders to shape data solutions

Supporting decision-making through clear visualisation and communication of findings

Ensuring work aligns with security and governance requirements

Key Requirements

Active SC Clearance (essential)

Proven experience as a Data Scientist in complex or regulated environments

Strong skills in Python (or similar) and data science libraries

Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis

Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders

Experience in public sector or government environments is highly desirable
