As a Data Scientist in Leeds, you'll focus on analysing data and creating models to support business decisions within the financial services industry. Your work will help uncover insights and drive strategies that provide actionable insight and deliver value.
Client Details
Our client, is a market leading financial services business, based in Leeds. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Data Scientist to support the strategic use of data within the business.
Description
Analyse large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve business challenges.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver solutions.
Present findings in a clear and concise manner to non-technical audiences.
Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines and infrastructure.
Validate and optimise data models to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in data science techniques.
Work as part of a collaborative analytics team to meet business objectives.
Profile
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with data analysis, modelling, and visualisation tools.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R or SQL.
Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly.
Experience producing clear reports and analysis for all stakeholders
Knowlege of GIS tools
Understanding of statistical techniques and machine learning methods.
Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.

Job Offer
Competitive salary ranging from £40000 to £48000, dependent on the level of experience.
Permanent position based in Leeds
Hybrid working pattern
