On behalf of NatWest, we are looking for a Data/ Liquidity Analyst for a 6-month contract based in London (hybrid working).
NatWest is a major UK retail bank, providing every day banking services to over 17 million retail customers. The banks expertise and services span across Business Services, Corporate banking, Wealth Management, Group Functions, Retail and Investment Banking.
The Data/ Liquidity Analyst will support the development of the Liquidity Data Dictionary within Digital Finance. Working closely with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Technology and Data teams, you will deliver data analysis, reporting and stakeholder engagement to improve liquidity data management and regulatory reporting.
Support the development and enhancement of the Liquidity Data Dictionary and related workstreams.
Analyse liquidity data and produce accurate financial and regulatory reporting using SQL and data analysis techniques.
Collaborate with Finance, Treasury, Risk, Technology and Data teams to deliver project objectives.
Engage confidently with senior stakeholders, taking ownership of deliverables and driving workstreams independently.
Support AI and automation initiatives by identifying opportunities to modernise existing liquidity processes.
Work within a high-profile Digital Finance programme, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
Strong knowledge and experience of liquidity management and liquidity data.
Advanced SQL skills, with Python experience highly desirable.
Experience working across Finance, Treasury, Risk, Technology and Data functions.
Exposure to AI, automation or modernisation initiatives within data or finance environments.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical, decision-making, time management and team-working abilities, ideally gained within banking or a regulated financial services environment.
