As a Data Engineer, you will build scalable data pipelines and cloud-based data solutions using Azure Data Factory, Snowflake, SQL, and Power BI, helping drive data-led decision making across the business.
Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines to move data from multiple sources into a central data warehouse.
Develop and maintain data models using modern cloud data technologies.
Transform and structure raw data into curated datasets that support business intelligence and reporting.
Apply data warehousing best practices to improve data accessibility, quality, and performance.
Create trusted datasets, measures, and KPIs to support reporting and operational decision-making.
Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
Support documentation, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement across the data function.
Contribute to data governance, data quality, and optimisation initiatives.
Strong commercial experience with SQL and data modelling.
Experience designing and managing ETL or ELT processes.
Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices.
Familiarity with Azure Data Factory and Snowflake.
Experience working with Power BI and an understanding of DAX and Power Query.
Understanding of data quality, governance, and performance optimisation.
Exposure to collaboration and development tools such as GitHub, Jira, and Confluence.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to a range of stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, adaptable approach to delivery.
Salary between £30,000 - £45,000 - depending on experience
