We're supporting a UK-based charitable organisation through a discovery engagement focused on improving trust account reporting, reconciliation processes and data management practices. Working closely with stakeholders, you'll help assess current processes, identify opportunities for improvement and automation, and shape a roadmap for future transformation.
Client Details
Our client is a well-established not-for-profit organisation that manages a significant portfolio of trust accounts on behalf of individuals across the UK. They are undertaking a strategic review of their reporting and reconciliation processes to improve efficiency, enhance data quality and reduce manual effort across key finance and operational activities.
Description
Gather and document current reporting and reconciliation processes.
Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops and discovery sessions.
Analyse data sources, business rules, reporting requirements and process dependencies.
Review existing spreadsheets, manual activities and reporting outputs.
Perform data analysis and data quality assessments.
Map end-to-end reporting and reconciliation workflows.
Identify opportunities for automation, process optimisation and improved data management.
Support the evaluation of future-state options and recommendations.
Produce high-quality discovery artefacts and stakeholder-ready documentation.
Contribute to the final discovery report and prioritised delivery roadmap.
Profile
Proven experience delivering data, reporting, reconciliation or process improvement initiatives.
Previous consultancy experience, either within a consulting business or in a client-facing project delivery environment, is highly desirable.
Experience working within charities, not-for-profit organisations, trusts, financial services or trustee services environments would be advantageous.
Strong understanding of trust accounting, trust administration or fiduciary reporting processes.
Experience gathering requirements, facilitating stakeholder workshops and producing discovery-phase documentation.
Ability to analyse complex data flows across multiple systems and identify opportunities for process improvement.
Comfortable operating independently whilst engaging with senior stakeholders.
Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.
Experience identifying automation opportunities and supporting business transformation initiatives.
Job Offer
Short-term assignment (circa 6 weeks)
Day rate £500-£600 per day (outside IR35)
Start date - End of September
