Data Analyst

SALARY: £28,505 to £34,613 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: West Bromwich, West Midlands (hybrid working available subject to successful probationary period)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm
We have a fantastic new opportunity for a Data Analyst to join a Corporate Services team, supporting central functions including development, governance, accountability, reporting, finance and funding.
Working across departments, you will collect, analyse and present data that informs decision-making, supports funding bids and helps communicate the impact of services. You will use systems and tools including Halo, Power BI, Excel, Donorfy and Microsoft Forms to build dashboards, generate reports and support service improvement.
This is a varied and rewarding role for someone with strong analytical, written communication and organisational skills, and a genuine interest in how information can drive positive change.
Performance Reporting: Produce reports on service delivery, outcomes and performance against targets for a range of audiences
Data Analysis: Collect, organise, interpret and present data clearly for funders, commissioners, managers, trustees and stakeholders
Dashboard Development: Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI and Excel
KPI Monitoring: Maintain reporting calendars, KPI records and performance metrics for grants and contracts
System Support: Support the development and implementation of data collection tools, including Halo formset design and testing
Service Improvement: Work with managers to understand operational needs, develop monitoring tools and support quality audits
Impact Reporting: Provide data insights, research and content to support funding bids, tenders, annual reports and external communications
Data Quality: Support staff training and induction on data systems to encourage consistent, accurate and high-quality data collection
Stakeholder Working: Build positive relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring data sharing follows policy and GDPR requirements

Education to degree level or equivalent, with a minimum Level 3 qualification
Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Office and advanced Excel skills, including formulas and pivot tables
Experience of data analysis, accurate data inputting, database use and maintaining up-to-date records
Experience using Power BI or other report-builders to create reports, dashboards or performance information
Good mathematical ability, accuracy and attention to detail
Able to interpret and present information clearly for different audiences, including written reports and presentations
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and respond to changing demands
Able to communicate clearly, work independently and collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
Understanding of GDPR, safeguarding, relevant legislation and good practice requirements
A non-judgemental, anti-discriminatory approach, with an understanding of the issues affecting victims and survivors of abuse
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
