At Qualify Nation Recruitment, we’re partnering with a fast-growing UK-based security and data protection consultancy looking to bring in a Cyber Security Consultant with the ambition to grow, develop, and work directly with clients on real-world challenges.
This opportunity is ideal for someone with 1–3 years’ experience who wants more than just a job—you want exposure, responsibility, and a clear pathway into consulting.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll work closely with senior consultants across a range of client environments, gaining hands-on experience in both short-term engagements and long-term security programmes.
Your work will include
Conducting cyber security gap analyses and maturity assessments
Supporting Cyber Essentials readiness and assessments
Developing policies, risk registers, and governance frameworks
Assisting with ISO 27001 and data protection compliance (GDPR)
Contributing to security roadmaps and improvement strategies
What We’re Looking For
We’re not just looking for experience—we’re looking for potential.
1–3 years in cyber security / information security
Understanding of ISO 27001, GDPR, or similar frameworks
Strong communication skills (you’ll be client-facing)
Ability to break down complex concepts into practical advice
A proactive mindset with a desire to grow into a consulting role
Based in the UK with full right to work (no sponsorship available)

What You’ll Get
£45,000 – £65,000 salary (depending on experience)
