Customer Support Advisor
Location: West Yorkshire - Office based Hours: Monday to Friday, full time - 35 hours Salary: £24,000 - £30,000 DOE + monthly bonus potential of approx. £275 Permanent / Full time
About the role
Are you passionate about delivering excellent customer service and solving problems? We're looking for a Customer Support Advisor to join an established business within the security and hardware industry.
You'll handle inbound customer enquiries across phone and email, supporting both B2B and B2C customers while working closely with internal teams to resolve queries quickly and effectively.
This is a fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys building customer relationships, handling technical queries and delivering a consistently high level of service.

What will you be doing?
Handle inbound customer enquiries via phone and email.
Resolve general and technical customer queries.
Manage complaints, returns and credits.
Provide product troubleshooting and support.
Liaise with Quality Control and internal departments.
Support stock control activities.
Work closely with the external Sales team.
Maintain accurate customer and order records.
Manage your own workload in a busy environment.
Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Deliver excellent customer service at every interaction.
What will you ideally bring to the role?
Previous customer service and call-handling experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong administration and organisational skills.
Good attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prioritise and multitask.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Experience with CRM/customer service systems.
GCSE Maths and English at grades A-C or equivalent.
Experience with doors, locks, PVC windows/doors, Sage, stock systems or logistics would be advantageous but is not essential.
