We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturing business based in Bootle for a Customer Service Account Manager to join their supportive and fast-paced team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who enjoys building strong customer relationships, taking ownership of accounts, and working in a varied role where no two days are the same. The business has built a strong reputation within its industry and offers a stable working environment with genuine long-term opportunities for the right person.
The successful candidate will work closely with both customers and internal departments to ensure a smooth customer journey from order placement through to delivery and aftercare, playing a key role in maintaining high service standards and long-term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Managing a portfolio of B2B customer accounts
Building strong relationships with customers and acting as a key point of contact
Processing orders, arranging deliveries and handling billing queries
Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email in a professional and timely manner
Liaising with operations and transport teams to ensure smooth service delivery
Resolving customer queries and complaints efficiently and professionally
Identifying opportunities to upsell products and services where appropriate
Maintaining accurate customer records, logs and account information
Supporting the wider team in delivering an excellent customer experience
About You
Experience within account management or B2B customer service
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Confident using Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
Highly organised with excellent time management and attention to detail
Able to work independently whilst also contributing positively within a team environment
An understanding of Oracle would be ideal but isn't essential
