Credit Controller opportunity with a well-established, highly regarded, market leading £45m t/o manufacturing business based in St Helens. Reporting to the Assistant Finance Manager and based in a team of 2 Part time Ledger Clerks and 2 Credit Controllers, your remit will include:
Responsible for all sales ledger tasks and credit control
Working to minimising overdue debt and maximise cashflow
Taking a practice approach to preventing bad debts through building excellent internal and external relationships
Ensuring collection of all outstanding debts within payment terms.
Proactively reducing aged debt, ensuring it remains within set KPI’s.
Assessing new customer credit applications and setting appropriate credit limits.
Ensuring the sales ledger is accurate
Posting/allocating bank receipts and handling customer invoice queries.
Reconciling customer accounts
Month end closing
Applicants will be experienced Accounts Receivable/Sales Ledger/Credit Control Processionals with experience across most, if not all, of the bullet points above. SAP Business One desirable. This is an excellent opportunity to join a very successful business that is on track to grow to £60m in the next 1-2 years, working in a friendly and collaborative team. Salary £26.8k with benefits including Bonus, 20 days annual leave + Bank Hols, 3% pension and excellent prospects. Onsite parking. 9:00 to 17.00 Monday to Friday. Office based – No Hybrid working. Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and should live within a sensible commute of St Helens.
