A leading firm of Chartered Accountants in Bristol is looking for a CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified Corporate Tax Senior Manager to lead the delivery of complex compliance and advisory work across a broad and technically varied client portfolio.

The practice is ambitious and well regarded, with a client base spanning a range of sectors and complexity levels, and a structured pathway to partnership for the right person. What's the day to day of the role

Leading corporate tax compliance and advisory delivery across a complex client portfolio

Advising on corporation tax, group structures, M&A, reorganisations and strategic tax planning

Reviewing corporate tax returns and computations prepared by managers and junior staff

Driving business development through proposals, networking and growing the practice

Building senior client relationships and acting as trusted adviser to key stakeholders

Leading and developing the managers and junior members of the tax team

Required skills and qualifications

CTA and/or ACA/ACCA qualified with a strong corporate tax background gained in practice

At least seven years' experience within a UK Practice environment

Track record at manager or senior manager level on complex corporate tax advisory work

Deep technical knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation

Confidence to engage at board and partner level, with proven experience developing teams

Commercially driven, with a strategic approach to business development
