Job Description
Copilot Specialist Newbury or Leeds – Hybrid (2-3 DPW in office) £40,000
VIQU are partnering with a leading organisation who are looking to build-out a new AI Enablement function focused on driving the safe and effective adoption of Microsoft Copilot across the business. This is a hands-on, business-facing role where you will work directly with users to understand day-to-day processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate these into practical Copilot use cases that improve productivity and ways of working. You will act as a key enabler between technical capability and business need, supporting adoption through engagement, training, and solution design, rather than deep engineering or architectural design work. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys stakeholder interaction, problem-solving, and helping organisations realise value from AI tools in a structured and practical way.
Key Responsibilities of the Copilot Specialist
Engage with business users across multiple teams to understand workflows, pain points, and opportunities for AI enablement
Support the rollout and adoption of Microsoft 365 Copilot across the organisation
Design and configure practical Copilot use cases and lightweight automations using Copilot Studio and the Power Platform
Deliver training sessions, workshops, and ongoing user support to drive adoption and confidence in Copilot tools
Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into actionable AI-enabled solutions
Promote safe and responsible use of AI in line with organisational policies and governance standards
Support the creation of user guidance, documentation, and enablement materials
Act as a bridge between business teams and technical specialists where deeper configuration or integration is required
Gather feedback from users and continuously refine adoption approaches and use cases
Key Experience Required of the Copilot Specialist
Experience working with Microsoft 365 Copilot in a business-facing or enablement capacity
Strong understanding of Microsoft 365, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform (Power Automate, PowerApps desirable)
Experience engaging with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical solutions
Ability to deliver training, workshops, or user enablement sessions to non-technical audiences
Good understanding of data protection, GDPR, and responsible use of AI tools in a corporate environment
Confident communicator with the ability to challenge assumptions and guide users towards practical outcomes
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with regular time spent in the office engaging directly with business users
