Contract Operations Manager
Skills & Technologies
Job Description
We’re looking for a Contract Operations Manager who will take ownership of the end-to-end contracting process across HealthHero’s B2B portfolio, managing the flow of agreements with corporate clients, insurers, partners and suppliers from intake through to signature, renewal and ongoing administration.
This is an exciting opportunity to build the contracting engine of a fast-growing business from the ground up. Developing the templates, playbooks, repository and CLM tooling that make our contracting faster, more consistent and lower-risk, and scalable as the business grows. You’ll be the central coordination point, partnering with Sales, Finance, Operations, Governance and Legal. You’ll own the administration and governance around every agreement from initial request through to signature and renewal, with scope to take on supplier and vendor management as the role develops.
About the Role
Owning, building and continuously improving the contract lifecycle management (CLM) process and tooling end to end: selecting, implementing and optimising CLM and contract-administration tools, structuring and maintaining the contract repository, and ensuring version control, approval workflows, e-signature, renewal tracking and reporting are robust, automated and auditable.
Building and maintaining the library of approved contract templates, standard clauses and routing playbooks, translating the positions, risk appetite and escalation rules into usable guidance, so that standard deals progress quickly and consistently and anything non-standard is escalated.
Acting as the central operational contact for contracting, helping stakeholders translate agreed commercial terms into clear, deliverable obligations and SLA expectations, and keeping Sales, Finance and Operations updated on status and next steps.
Overseeing contract execution, amendments, renewals and terminations, ensuring accurate documentation and a single source of truth for live agreements.
Ensuring contracting activity follows defined governance and approval frameworks, and contribute to the continuous improvement of commercial processes, controls and systems.
Supporting, and over time taking greater ownership of, supplier and vendor management, including supplier onboarding and due diligence, maintaining supplier terms and records, tracking renewals and obligations, and acting as a coordination point for day-to-day supplier relationship administration.
Managing day-to-day contract queries from internal and external stakeholders, resolving routine questions directly and coordinating with Legal or external counsel on anything more complex.
About you, Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience in contract operations, administration or management within a B2B environment, ability to implement and manage contracting process.
Hands-on experience working with CLM or contract-administration tooling and the processes, templates and repositories around it, with a clear sense of what a well-run contracting operation looks like. Implementation of a system a plus
Experience working with commercial contracts and an understanding of common contractual terms to support triage to correct teams and keep contract updates on track (liability, indemnities, SLAs, IP, data protection, termination)
Strong analytical, problem-solving and risk-assessment skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of work to tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and stakeholder-coordination skills, comfortable chasing, prioritising and keeping multiple parties aligned and moving.
Comfortable working independently as an individual contributor in Contract Operations
