An exciting opportunity for a Conflicts Analyst to join the Risk & Compliance function of a prestigious international law firm in London. Working closely with lawyers, compliance professionals and senior stakeholders, you will play a key role in identifying and resolving conflicts of interest while supporting the firm's new business intake process.

Description
Conduct detailed conflicts research on companies, organisations, and individuals involved in prospective client matters.
Analyse conflicts reports and research findings to identify potential legal and commercial conflicts of interest.
Advise lawyers and business services teams on conflicts issues and potential routes to resolution.
Escalate complex conflicts matters to senior management, compliance teams, or General Counsel functions when required.
Maintain and update corporate structures, group relationships, and organisational hierarchies within conflicts systems.
Carry out ongoing research into mergers, acquisitions, restructurings, and insolvency events to ensure data accuracy.
Assist with the identification and resolution of emerging or unforeseen conflicts issues.
Process client and matter maintenance requests, including matter openings, closures, amendments, and related administrative updates.
Support wider conflicts and compliance projects as required.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of conflicts processes and procedures.
Profile
Previous experience within a Conflicts, Risk & Compliance, New Business Intake, or legal research role.
Strong analytical and investigative skills with excellent attention to detail.
Experience using conflicts databases, ideally Intapp or similar systems.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
The ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of a professional services environment.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
A proactive approach to problem solving and decision making.
High levels of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Outlook.
Experience gained within a law firm or professional services environment would be advantageous.
Degree-level education or equivalent professional experience.
