Commercial ManagerCommercial Manager.

Extremely exciting time to join a large company that has recently partnered with another major company.

There are 3 roles available - Experienced QS or Senior QS or Commercial Manager or Assistant Director QS.

Permanent position. This role will be based in Glasgow / Hybrid.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying services across a varied project portfolio

Prepare cost plans, estimates, budgets and feasibility studies

Manage procurement exercises, tender documentation and tender analysis

Produce cost reports, valuations and payment recommendations

Maintain effective financial control throughout each project

Lead value engineering, risk management and change-control processes

Negotiate and agree final accounts

Manage projects from initial feasibility through to completion

Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors

Mentor junior surveyors and support their professional development

Contribute to business development and help secure new opportunities

Requirements

MRICS Chartered status

Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline

Approximately five years' post-qualification experience within a consultancy

Strong pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying experience

Good working knowledge of JCT and NEC contracts

Experience delivering projects across a range of sectors

Excellent client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills

Strong commercial awareness and problem-solving ability

Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Proactive, collaborative and organised approach

Full UK driving licence

Public-sector project experience would be advantageous but is not essential
