Commercial Finance Business Partner / Runcorn (hybrid) / Salary £65,000 - £70,000 + car allowance, bonus and great benefits package. Accountable Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with a market-leading UK organisation to recruit an ambitious Commercial Finance Business Partner. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified finance professional to join a high-performing finance team, providing commercially focused insight and partnering with key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making and business growth.

This role offers significant exposure across the business, combining commercial analysis, financial planning, investment appraisal, and business partnering within a dynamic and evolving environment. Key Responsibilities

Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support strategic projects, process improvements, and investment appraisals.

Evaluate investment opportunities and deliver financial support throughout implementation and transition into business-as-usual activity.

Partner with senior stakeholders and management teams to challenge performance, identify root causes of variances, and recommend corrective actions.

Develop and enhance management information and reporting tools to drive profitability and support strategic objectives.

Support the development and rollout of self-service reporting solutions, promoting a data-driven culture across the organisation.

Assist in the production of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans alongside operational stakeholders.

Monitor market and industry trends, assessing potential impacts on revenue, margins, and operating costs.

Produce meaningful financial analysis and ad hoc reporting to support informed business decision-making.

Act as a trusted finance partner, influencing decision-making and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and turning financial data into actionable business insight. Key skills

Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).

Proven experience in a Commercial Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, or commercially focused finance role.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.

Experience supporting commercial decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Advanced Excel skills and strong financial systems knowledge (SAP experience advantageous).

A proactive and collaborative approach, with a passion for driving business performance.

Desirable Experience

Project-based finance or transformation programme experience.

Experience working within healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, logistics, or similarly complex operational environments.
