Location: Central London Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum Working Pattern: Full-Time, Permanent Hours: 9:00am - 6:00pm Hybrid Working: 4 days office / 1 day home after probation

The Company

Our client is an established and growing Residential Property Management business based in Central London. Following significant portfolio growth over the past year, they are seeking a Client Accounts to join their close-knit accounting team.

The business manages a substantial residential property portfolio and offers a collaborative working environment where Property Management, Lettings and Accounts teams work closely together. This role presents an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within residential property accounting and gain exposure to client accounting responsibilities.

The Role

As a Client Accountant, you will support the day-to-day financial administration of a busy residential property portfolio. Working alongside experienced accounting professionals, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions and supporting both tenants and property managers.

This position would suit someone with 1-2 years' experience within residential property, property accounts or accounts payable who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process all incoming invoices using MRI Qube

Log and allocate incoming rent receipts accurately

Maintain and update records across the property management database

Perform tenant account reconciliations

Investigate and resolve account discrepancies

Liaise with tenants regarding account and payment queries

Support Property Managers with financial and account-related matters

Assist with the administration of client accounts across the property portfolio

Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately and in line with company procedures

Produce reports and account information as required

Support the wider accounts team with ad-hoc accounting duties

About You

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have

1-2 years' experience within residential property, lettings, client accounts, accounts payable or a similar accounting function

Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks

Confident communication skills, both written and verbal

The ability to work independently and take ownership of your workload

Good Excel skills

A proactive and positive approach to work

Experience using MRI Qube would be advantageous but is not essential
