Client Accountant

Campbell Grove Talent is working with a growing accountancy firm on the outskirts of Elland who are looking to recruit a Client Accountant to join their friendly and experienced team.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of clients across a range of industries, giving you broad exposure and the chance to further develop your practice experience.

You could be AAT qualified and looking to take the next step in Practice, or already studying towards or qualified ACCA/ACA. Either way, we’re interested in the experience you bring and where you want to go next.

What you'll do

Prepare accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.

Prepare VAT returns, tax returns and financial statements.

Liaise with clients to gather information, answer queries and build strong relationships.

Manage your own workload to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Support colleagues and contribute to improving processes and client service.

Identify opportunities to add value for clients and support business growth.

What we're looking for

Experience of working in Practice in a Client Accountant role or similar.

AAT qualified or studying/qualified ACCA/ACA.

Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax compliance.

Ideally experience with software such as IRIS, Sage, Xero or QuickBooks.

Excellent attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

A proactive, positive approach and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
