Class 2 Driver

Here at GXO, we are looking for skilled and dependable Class 2 Driver to join us in Avonmouth (BS11 0YD), working with our customer, Greene King.

The role is full-time and permanent, working 46 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The start time is approximately 05:00, with contracted hours of 9.2 hours per day.

Please note that the working pattern includes Bank Holidays.

What you’ll do on a typical day

Conduct thorough pre and post-shift checks of the vehicle to ensure it is in optimal working condition

Delivering kegs and small-pack products on the Greene King Drinks side of the business

Unload stock from cages during deliveries

Navigate busy city routes while handling challenging parking situations

Accurately complete all necessary paperwork to facilitate smooth and efficient operations

What you need to succeed at GXO

Hold a valid Class 2 licence

No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, DR, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)

An up-to-date CPC and Digital Tachograph

Commitment to safety and compliance with driving regulations

Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your initiative
