Civil Engineer Location: Birmingham Salary: £36,000 - £44,000

A well-established civil and structural design practice is seeking a Civil Engineer to support residential and commercial development schemes across the Midlands. Reporting directly to a Director, this Civil Engineer role provides real exposure to design delivery and statutory approvals.

As a Civil Engineer, you will take ownership of drainage and infrastructure design while working closely with senior colleagues to deliver technically robust solutions.

Key responsibilities Prepare detailed drainage and infrastructure designs Produce drawings for S104, S38 and S278 submissions Liaise with local authorities and design teams Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D or PDS and drainage software * Ensure outputs meet UK standards and compliance

Candidate requirements Three to four years' UK consultancy experience Strong drainage and development infrastructure background Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant design tools Degree qualified in Civil Engineering * Confident communicator with problem-solving ability
