CCIE Network Consultant

We're currently working with a specialist network engineering consultancy that are looking to hire two senior CCIE level engineers into customer-facing technical authority positions.

These are highly technical, project-led roles focused on delivering modern enterprise and datacentre infrastructure solutions across complex customer environments within the finance space

This is not an operational support role. The business is looking for engineers who can operate as trusted technical leads across projects, customer engagements and infrastructure transformation initiatives.

The Opportunity

You’ll work closely with enterprise customers across design, implementation and technical leadership activities, acting as a key technical authority throughout the project lifecycle.

The environment is heavily engineering focused, with exposure to modern datacentre technologies, automation and emerging AI-driven infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical authority across enterprise networking projects

• Lead customer-facing technical discussions and workshops

• Design and deliver modern datacentre infrastructure solutions

• Provide technical leadership across project delivery teams

• Support infrastructure transformation and modernisation initiatives

• Produce technical designs and implementation guidance

• Work closely with customers throughout delivery lifecycle

What They’re Looking For

Essential

• MUST hold current CCIE certification

• Strong enterprise networking background

• Hands on Experience operating in customer-facing project environments

• Strong routing and switching expertise

• Experience delivering complex infrastructure projects

• Comfortable acting as senior technical authority

Desirable

• Cisco Nexus / ACI

• EVPN / VXLAN

• Spine-leaf datacentre architectures

• Network automation and programmability

• AI infrastructure or high-performance networking exposure

• Modern datacentre technologies

• Up to £90,000 basic salary + 10% Bonus + Other Benefits
