Job Description

Our client, a reputable multi-franchise approved car dealership in Bristol, is seeking an experienced New Car Sales Manager to lead their dynamic sales team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven professional to join a recognised industry leader and contribute to the continued success of their dealership. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the sales team, driving sales performance, and maintaining excellent customer satisfaction standards.

Benefits for the successful Car Sales Manager

Competitive basic salary of £40,000 per annum, commensurate with experience

45 hour week with weekends on a rotational basis, with 1 in 2 full weekends off!

Uncapped annual earnings exceeding £56,000, with realistic on-target earnings of £57,000+ based on performance

Personal company car included

33 days annual holiday allowance, increasing over length of service (any bank holidays worked attract a day off in lieu)

Duties of the Car Sales Manager

Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets

Ensure exceptional customer experience by promoting best practices and valuing feedback

Develop and implement engaging sales campaigns and events to generate revenue

Monitor market trends and customer needs to craft targeted sales strategies

Collaborate with departments to maintain accurate and up-to-date customer data

Act as the brand ambassador, leading from the front to ensure dealership standards are upheld

Drive continuous improvement within the sales department, fostering a high-performance environment

Requirements of the Car Sales Manager

Previous experience at a Sales Manager level within a franchise-approved car dealership will be advantageous

Demonstrable leadership and team management skills

Passionate about delivering excellent customer service and achieving high sales results

Proven track record in automotive sales success

Strong organisational and communication skills

A UK driving licence with minimal points is essential

Enthusiasm to develop long-term career within a large automotive group
