About the team
The Business Architecture team sits at the heart of SumUp’s Global Operations, ensuring that our processes, systems and ways of working scale effectively as we grow.
We connect strategy with execution, designing and governing workflows that power consistent, high-quality customer experiences across markets.
As a Business Process Manager, you’ll play a key role in shaping how operations run end-to-end.
You’ll work across teams to bring structure to complexity, turning data, insights, and system understanding into scalable process solutions.
This is an opportunity to step into a high-impact role where you’ll not only improve processes, but also help define how process excellence and governance are built at scale.
What you’ll do
Own and lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives, from scoping to implementation and monitoring
Map and optimise business processes using BPMN, identifying inefficiencies and evaluating changes
Analyse multi-source data to uncover root causes and translate insights into actionable recommendations
Define business requirements and ensure alignment between processes, systems, and operational goals
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contributing to governance frameworks and driving continuous improvement and adoption
You’ll be great for this role if
Strong experience in process mapping and optimisation (BPMN), including facilitating workshops and aligning stakeholders
Comfortable working with data, using tools like Excel and Tableau to generate insights
Proven ability to lead cross-functional process improvement projects end-to-end, managing timelines and stakeholders independently
Solid understanding of system interactions, with the ability to translate business needs into structured requirements
Structured, solution-oriented mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to navigate complexity and am
