This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing main contractor at a key stage of its development. The business has grown significantly in recent years and has ambitious plans for the future, with the successful candidate playing a major role in helping shape the next stage of that growth.

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a strong background in Construction and the ambition to help build something to its next stage of developments? The company delivers main contracting, refurbishment and fit-out projects across London and the surrounding areas, with capabilities including roofing, fireproofing, decorating, carpentry, masonry and façade works.

They are now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to help build on their existing reputation and establish a strong pipeline of future work.

As Business Development Manager, you will have the freedom and responsibility to develop new relationships, identify opportunities and bring in new work. You will work closely with the Director and have a genuine influence over the direction of the business rather than simply operating within an established sales structure.

This role would suit someone who already understands the main contracting market, has strong industry connections and is confident going out and creating opportunities. The long-term aim is to build a business that can continue to grow, with the successful candidate becoming a key part of that journey.

The Role

• Developing new client relationships and identifying main contracting opportunities
• Building and managing a strong pipeline of work across London and the surrounding areas
• Using existing industry connections to generate new business and secure projects
• Help shape the future growth of the business

The Person

• Proven Business Development experience within main contracting
• Confident, personable and an excellent communicator
• Ambitious, hungry and motivated to build something long term
• Commercially minded with a strong understanding of the construction market
