Business Development Manager - Manufacturing
Location: Field-based covering the South of the UK
Salary: £55,000–£60,000 + £400 per month car allowance

Hariley Solutions are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to appoint an experienced Business Development Manager to join their growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced sales professional with a background in manufacturing, engineering, industrial products or technical solutions who enjoys developing new business and building long-term customer relationships.
The role will be heavily focused on business development, with approximately 70% of your time dedicated to winning new business. The remaining 30% will involve maintaining relationships with existing customers through occasional customer visits, with an established internal team managing day-to-day account management.

Develop and execute a targeted business development strategy across the South of the UK.
Identify and secure new business opportunities within target markets.
Build relationships with senior stakeholders, purchasing teams, engineers and key decision-makers.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial prospecting through to negotiation and securing new business.
Attend customer meetings, site visits and product presentations.
Understand customer requirements and provide consultative sales solutions.
Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through networking, market research and business development activity.
Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting and CRM records.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure successful customer onboarding.
Previous experience within Business Development, Technical Sales or Field Sales.
A proven track record of winning new business.
Experience selling into manufacturing, engineering, industrial or technical environments.
Strong communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
The ability to manage your own diary and work independently.
A commercially focused mindset with the drive to achieve results.
A full UK driving licence.
Salary of £55,000–£60,000 depending on experience
£400 per month car allowance
Monday to Friday, 8:30am–5:00pm
Field-based role covering the South of the UK
Weekly attendance required at Head Office in the Oldbury/Walsall area
