Business Development Manager – Commercial Vehicles
West Midlands | £35,000 - £37,000 Basic + Commission + Company Car + Excellent Benefits
Are you an experienced Business Development Manager with a background in commercial vehicles, transport, automotive, fleet, truck or van sales?
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a leading commercial vehicle dealership group for a motivated and ambitious Business Development Manager to drive growth across the West Midlands region.
This role focuses on developing new and existing customer relationships, promoting a range of aftersales solutions including service contracts, maintenance agreements, parts sales and warranty packages for HGV and LCV operators. The Role
Identify and secure new business opportunities across the West Midlands
Promote and sell service plans, maintenance contracts, warranty packages and parts solutions
Develop relationships with fleet operators, transport businesses and commercial vehicle customers
Grow revenue through aftersales products and long-term customer agreements
Manage and develop existing key customer accounts
Conduct regular customer review meetings and business development activity
Work closely with operational teams to enhance customer satisfaction and retention
Achieve agreed sales targets and KPI's
What We're Looking For
Previous business development or sales experience within the commercial vehicle sector
Experience selling aftersales products, service agreements, maintenance packages or warranty solutions would be highly advantageous
Good understanding of the UK truck and van market
Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills
Commercial awareness and a target-driven mindset
Competent IT and Microsoft Office skills
Full UK Driving Licence
