Business Development Manager - Maternity Cover London | Hybrid | Real Estate, Projects & Finance
A leading international law firm is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its London team on a maternity cover basis.
The role will support Real Estate, Projects and Finance practices, working closely with lawyers, senior stakeholders and international BD teams to drive pitches, client development, events and marketing activity. Key responsibilities
Lead high-quality pitches, proposals and tender submissions.
Develop compelling client-focused messaging and manage bid feedback.
Coordinate client events, sponsorships and partnerships.
Manage legal directory and awards submissions.
Produce and maintain lawyer profiles, credentials and marketing materials.
Support business plans, campaigns and cross-selling initiatives.
Research clients, markets and competitors to identify opportunities.
Support key client programmes and CRM activity.
Represent BD at practice group meetings and collaborate with international teams.
About the candidate The successful candidate will have:
Strong bids/business development experience in a professional services environment.
Experience managing complex, cross-practice or cross-office submissions.
Excellent written communication, organisation and project management skills.
Confidence working with senior stakeholders and influencing effectively.
A proactive, commercial and collaborative approach.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver under tight deadlines.
Experience with Vuture and InterAction.
Previous UK law firm experience is desirable.
