Join WTW as a commercially driven Business Development Director responsible for accelerating growth across our Retail, Leisure & Hospitality Practice, including Sports, Media and Entertainment.
This strategic new business role focuses on identifying, developing and converting opportunities across the UK market. Working closely with industry specialists and subject matter experts, you will build relationships with senior decision-makers and position WTW's full range of insurance, risk and advisory solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and deliver the sector new business growth strategy.
Develop and manage a target prospect universe across Retail, Hospitality, Leisure and Sports.
Generate, qualify and convert new business opportunities.
Build relationships with CFOs, Finance Directors, Risk Managers, General Counsel and investors.
Lead the sales process from prospecting through to onboarding.
Coordinate pitches, presentations and RFP responses.
Maintain pipeline visibility, forecasting and CRM discipline.
Represent WTW at industry events and networking forums.
Achieve agreed revenue and growth objectives.
What you'll bring
Proven success winning and converting new business.
Experience in insurance, risk advisory, consulting or corporate sales.
Strong commercial, networking and relationship-building skills.
Experience engaging senior stakeholders and C-suite leaders.
Excellent presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
Strategic mindset with strong market awareness.
Ability to manage complex sales cycles and multiple stakeholders.
