Are you enthusiastic about battling fraudulent behavior? Are you ready to use your comprehensive detection skills to make a huge difference in addressing the problem of platform misuse? Then we’re looking for you! Join our international Fraud team as our new Business Fraud Detection Analyst, enabling us to enhance online trust and protect consumers and businesses worldwide.

In this role, you will be responsible for exploring new types of misuse, identifying fraudulent behavior, and developing detection methods to stop fraudsters in their tracks. You’ll analyze anomalies on the platform, deep dive into open source investigations, and use tools like big query and looker to connect the dots and develop mitigation strategies. You’ll be part of a collaborative, cross functional team of curious investigators and analysts who value transparency, fairness, and a positive team spirit. Together we’re on the front lines of change across the business and working to make Trustpilot the universal symbol of trust.

What you’ll be doing

Investigate & audit: Conduct deep dive investigations into emerging trends in misuse and fraudulent behavior to find patterns that we are currently missing with our detection.

Query data: Use SQL to navigate our databases (like Google BigQuery), pull the information you need to support your investigations. Build rules or mitigations based on your analysis to prevent fraudulent behavior across our platform.
