Job Description

EMEA Cross-Product - Horizon Program - Integration Business Analyst (Vice President)

Global HR Transformation - Horizon Program EMEA IT Delivery

Background

This role supports the delivery of EMEA technology outcomes for Global Horizon programme, the bank's first large-scale global HR technology implementation. Horizon aims to migrate regionalised HR systems to a single global SAP SuccessFactors platform with a common, standardised integration landscape.

The role is based in London and embedded within the EMEA Cross Product IT function, working closely with the EMEA Technical Delivery Manager, HR IT, Data IT, architecture teams, and the Global IT Project Manager located in New York. The Business Analyst operates within a predominantly regional operating model while acting as a key conduit into the global programme structure, ensuring EMEA requirements are clearly understood, documented, and reflected within global designs and delivery plans.

Key Responsibilities

Analyse and document current-state (as-is) HR processes, systems, integrations, and data flows across EMEA in scope of the Global Horizon programme.

Produce high-quality analysis artefacts including process maps, system interaction diagrams, data flow diagrams, interface inventories, and requirements documentation.

Identify integration dependencies, data ownership, hand-offs, regional variations, and constraints across HR, Identity & Access Management, Finance, Compliance, and other downstream systems.

Work closely with solution and data architecture teams to support the definition of the target-state integration and data architecture, ensuring traceability from current-state analysis to future-state design.

Contribute to the definition and documentation of functional and non-functional requirements, including security, data protection, regulatory, performance, and resilience considerations.

Support alignment of EMEA regional requirements with global Horizon standards, principles, and roadmaps, highlighting gaps or regional impacts where applicable.

Engage with global and regional IT and data teams (Tokyo, New York, APAC and others) to facilitate consistent understanding of requirements and integration design across regions.

Facilitate and support workshops, walkthroughs, and design sessions with business, IT, and vendor stakeholders across multiple regions and time zones.

Maintain requirements traceability through design and delivery, supporting impact assessments, change control, and quality assurance activities.

Assist the Technical Delivery Manager and programme leadership by providing structured analysis, dependency insight, and clear documentation to support delivery decisions.

Contribute to programme governance artefacts including design packs, delivery documentation, and stakeholder communications.

Operate effectively within a dual organisational context spanning the Global Horizon Programme Office and EMEA ITSD Cross Product Platforms (HR IT and Data IT).

Required Skills and Experience

Proven experience as a Integration Analyst supporting large-scale, complex technology transformation programmes, ideally within financial services or other highly regulated environments.

Demonstrated experience working on systems integration and data-centric initiatives, rather than purely business process change.

Experience supporting enterprise HR platforms (SAP SuccessFactors experience desirable but not essential), with a focus on downstream integrations.

Strong analytical capability across process, systems, and data, with experience producing clear, structured, and high-quality documentation.

Good understanding of systems integration concepts including API-based integrations, middleware (e.g. SAP CPI), and enterprise data platforms or data lakes such as Databricks.

Familiarity with downstream enterprise systems including Identity & Access Management, Finance, Compliance, Security, and regulatory reporting platforms.

Experience working across regions and time zones, operating effectively within matrix structures and complex stakeholder environments.

Ability to translate complex technical and integration concepts into clear documentation and stakeholder-appropriate language.

Experience working closely with architects, developers, delivery managers, and third-party vendors within structured delivery frameworks.

Awareness of regulatory, data protection, and security considerations related to employee data within global financial institutions.

Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, with the confidence to challenge, clarify, and drive agreement on requirements and design.

Challenges

Analysing and documenting a fragmented, regionally optimised HR and integration landscape as input into a global target-state design.

Supporting delivery of a single global integration outcome within an organisation with strong regional autonomy and differing levels of technical maturity.

Maintaining clarity, consistency, and traceability of requirements and designs within an evolving architecture and delivery model.
