Business Analyst
I am currently recruiting for a Business Analyst to join a leading financial services organisation based in the Midlands. Within this role, you will be required to work across a variety of programmes across a full project lifecycle within Agile and Waterfall environments
Location - Midlands - two - three days per week onsite
Duration - 12 Months FTC
Responsibilities
Leading the estimation, planning and definition of the business analysis workstream
Eliciting and refining requirements, analysing business processes and supporting the early stage project assessments
Evaluating proposed solutions, identifying risks and assumptions and ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives
Producing key project artefacts, including business requirements documentation, process mapping, user stories, KPI reporting, benefits realisation plans and risk and issue logs
Workshop facilitation, focus groups and collaborative planning sessions with a variety of stakeholders and subject matter experts
Supporting project implementation to ensure delivery of measurable business value
Serving as custodian of technical knowledge, championing change and promoting a positive organisational culture
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business users, senior operational leaders, customers and external partners
Key Requirements
Proven experience as a Business Analyst, delivering successful outcomes across the full project lifecycle within Agile and Waterfall environments within a Financial Services organisation
Partnered closely with senior level stakeholders and business unit heads on complex initiatives to shape and align strategic objectives and contributing beyond analysis to long term direction
Acting as a critical liaison between technical teams and non technical stakeholders, translating complex technical concepts into clear accessible language, fostering collaboration, building consensus and driving strategy aligned solutions
Taking accountability not only for high quality documentation but also for stakeholder engagement, sponsor alignment and supporting cultural change to enable smooth adoption of new ways of working
