The role: What's in the Box
Factor’s Commercial team is looking for a Business Analyst Intern to support the delivery of its commercial and operational objectives. You will work closely with teams across the business to help translate performance and operational information into clear insights that support day-to-day decision-making in a fast-paced food-tech environment.
You will also gain exposure to how commercial strategy, operations, and financial processes come together in a high-growth company, and contribute to improving how we track, understand, and communicate business performance.
What you’ll do: The Recipe
Support the Strategy Manager and broader commercial team in driving financial performance, decision-making, and operational excellence across the business.
Support financial and analytical operations processes to ensure leadership has accurate, timely visibility into company performance across key metrics.
Analyze business performance against targets, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities, and translating findings into actionable recommendations to support growth.
Use data and analytical tools to understand customer behavior at scale and help ensure we continuously improve the customer experience.
Contribute to quarterly financial planning and forecasting by building and maintaining models based on historical performance, business inputs, and market trends.
Prepare and support the development of company-wide presentations, ensuring clarity and alignment on strategy and performance across teams.
What you’ll bring: The Ingredients
You are studying towards (or have completed) a degree in a quantitative or business-related field such as Finance, Accounting, Economics, Computer Science, Analytics, Mathematics, or similar.
You have proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and modelling. Experience with SQL and/or Python is highly desirable.
You are comfortable using AI tools.
You have strong analytical skills and can transl
