About the role

We’re looking for an ambitious, commercially minded Branch Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running and continued growth of this historic and reputable estate agency.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced estate agency professional who is confident leading a team, winning new business and driving performance across the branch.

You’ll take responsibility for managing, supporting, training and motivating the branch team, holding regular morning meetings, setting expectations and ensuring the team is consistently working towards its monthly and quarterly targets.

Alongside the management side of the role, you’ll be expected to lead from the front when it comes to business generation. This will include winning instructions, converting opportunities into listings, building strong relationships with vendors and helping drive additional revenue through our mortgage and legal services.

What you’ll be doing

Take responsibility for the day-to-day running and performance of the branch

Lead, manage, train, support and motivate the branch team

Hold regular morning meetings to set expectations, review performance and focus the team

Set individual and branch targets and ensure these are consistently monitored

Coach team members and help develop their skills and performance

Lead by example and create a positive, accountable and commercially driven branch environment

Win new instructions and convert opportunities into listings

Build strong relationships with homeowners and vendors

Target approximately 10 new listings per month

Identify new business opportunities and actively drive branch growth

Introduce customers to our mortgage and solicitor referral services

Work closely with the branch team to achieve monthly and quarterly targets

Monitor individual performance and provide support where required

Ensure excellent customer service is maintained throughout the sales process

Deliver an excellent customer experience while consistently hitting commercial targets

We’re looking for someone who is

Already an experienced Branch Manager within estate agency

Commercially driven and motivated by targets

A strong communicator and negotiator

Comfortable asking for the instruction and closing business

Experienced in managing, training and motivating a team

Confident holding morning meetings and driving branch performance

Able to set clear expectations and hold people accountable

A natural leader who can bring the best out of their team

Proactive in identifying additional sales opportunities

Organized and able to manage multiple vendors and opportunities

Confident dealing with customers, vendors and colleagues at all levels

Motivated by a combination of salary, commission and performance bonuses

Someone who enjoys winning new business and has the drive to grow a branch

Most importantly, you’ll have the drive to win business, lead a team and get the best from the people around you
