Location: Dudley, West Midlands Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Quarterly Bonus (OTE c. £47,500) Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm, plus Saturday working as required (with time off in lieu)

Our client is a well-established and growing retailer specialising in vehicle accessories, lifestyle products and aftermarket solutions. Following continued investment and expansion, they are seeking an ambitious and commercially focused Branch Manager.

This is an exciting opportunity for an entrepreneurial leader to take ownership of a developing retail business, driving sales growth, increasing local brand awareness and creating an outstanding customer experience.

As Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management and commercial performance of the showroom and fitting centre. You will lead from the front, developing new business opportunities, increasing customer footfall and ensuring exceptional service standards.

This role would suit a proactive and commercially minded manager who enjoys identifying growth opportunities, motivating teams and delivering strong financial results. The successful candidate will treat the branch as their own business, taking full accountability for performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.

Drive sales growth, profitability and achievement of key business objectives.

Lead, motivate and develop the branch team to deliver outstanding customer service.

Create and implement initiatives to increase customer engagement and showroom footfall.

Identify and develop new business opportunities through local networking and relationship building.

Work closely with marketing and digital teams to support promotional activities and maximise sales opportunities.

Monitor branch performance and implement action plans to achieve targets.

Manage branch budgets and maintain healthy margin levels.

Oversee showroom standards, merchandising and stock control.

Coordinate fitting centre schedules and customer bookings.

Ensure compliance with company procedures, security requirements and health & safety standards.

Provide performance reports and business insights to senior leadership.

Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer excellence.

Essential

Previous experience managing a retail store, branch or showroom operation.

Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Experience managing budgets, KPIs and overall commercial performance.

Strong leadership and people management skills.

Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.

A hands-on, proactive and results-driven approach.

Confidence generating new business and developing local partnerships.

Experience supporting or delivering marketing and promotional initiatives.

Desirable

Background within automotive, leisure, outdoor, construction, caravan, camping or a related sector.

Experience managing a showroom environment and enhancing customer experience.

Previous involvement in growing a business unit, branch or retail operation.
