The Role
Working closely with Audit Seniors, Managers and Partners, you'll play an important role in delivering high-quality audit and accounting services to a varied client base.
Assisting with statutory audits from planning through to completion
Preparing audit files and supporting audit fieldwork
Completing substantive testing and audit documentation
Preparing statutory accounts for a range of clients
Assisting with corporation tax computations where required
Working directly with clients and developing strong professional relationships
Identifying areas for improvement and adding value throughout the audit process
Supporting and mentoring trainees where appropriate
Working closely with senior members of the team to develop your technical knowledge
ACA or ACCA part-qualified (or AAT qualified with audit experience)
Previous experience within a UK accountancy practice
Experience assisting on statutory audits
Good understanding of UK accounting standards
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
The ambition to continue progressing towards professional qualification
