In this Audit Assistant Manager role, you will take a leading role in the planning, execution, and completion of audit assignments across a diverse and stimulating client portfolio spanning a variety of sectors. You will work closely with senior management and partners, providing technical input and helping to drive quality and efficiency across the team. There is also a meaningful people management element to this position, giving you the opportunity to mentor and develop junior staff and play a key role in shaping the audit function going forward.

Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through to completion, ensuring quality and compliance with relevant standards

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact and providing proactive, commercially aware advice

Supervise, support, and develop junior members of the audit team, reviewing their work and providing constructive feedback

Contribute to the continued growth and development of the audit department, supporting partners with business development activity

Assist in the preparation of audit reports and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to applicable accounting frameworks

Requirements

Must have previous experience working within a UK Practice environment

ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent), with demonstrable experience at Senior or Assistant Manager level within an audit team

Strong technical knowledge of UK GAAP, FRS 102, and IFRS, with the ability to apply this across a varied client base

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients and colleagues at all levels

A proactive, organised approach with the ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines simultaneously
