This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of audit assignments, develop your leadership experience and work with a varied portfolio of clients.

Audit Assistant Manager Responsibilities

Managing audit assignments from initial planning through to completion.

Leading audit teams and ensuring work is completed accurately, efficiently and within agreed deadlines.

Acting as a key point of contact for clients throughout the audit process.

Reviewing audit files and work completed by junior and part-qualified colleagues.

Identifying audit risks and helping to resolve technical issues.

Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts alongside audit assignments.

Audit Assistant Manager Attributes

ACA or ACCA qualified or approaching qualification.

Strong external audit experience gained within a UK accountancy practice.

Experience managing assignments across the complete audit cycle.

Confident supervising, coaching and reviewing the work of junior colleagues.
