The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to join a growing independent accountancy and business advisory firm with a strong reputation across the North West.
The firm has built its name on being straight-talking, proactive and relationship-led — supporting SMEs, owner-managed businesses and growing companies with practical advice that goes beyond compliance.
With continued growth across their Audit & Accounts offering, they’re now looking to appoint an Audit & Accounts Manager to take ownership of a varied portfolio and help drive the next stage of growth.
The Role
This is a broad and visible position offering a mix of
Audit management
Accounts and advisory work
Team leadership
Client relationship management
You’ll work closely with Directors and Partners while managing your own portfolio of clients across a range of sectors. Responsibilities will include:
Managing audit assignments from planning through to completion
Reviewing statutory accounts and financial statements
Managing and developing client relationships
Supporting and mentoring junior team members
Working closely with business owners and SMEs on wider advisory matters
Ensuring work is delivered to deadlines and high technical standards
Supporting wider growth and development across the firm
What They’re Looking For
ACA / ACCA qualified
Strong audit and accounts experience within accountancy practice
Experience managing client relationships and leading assignments
Comfortable working with SMEs and owner-managed businesses
Strong communication and organisational skills
Someone who enjoys a collaborative, down-to-earth culture
