Assistant Management Accountant

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will support the production of monthly management accounts and provide financial insight across a fast-paced media and marketing agency.

Working closely with finance and operational teams, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, budgeting support, and business analysis.

This is a fixed term, 9 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts.

Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.

Support month-end and year-end close processes.

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Post journals, accruals, and prepayments.

Analyse financial data and provide reporting to support business decisions.

Support audit requirements and ad hoc finance projects.

Assist the wider finance team with day-to-day accounting activities.

Skills & Experience

Previous experience in an Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Analyst, or similar finance role.

Experience within a media, marketing, creative, or agency environment is essential.

Studying towards AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualification.

Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work with stakeholders across the business.
