Assistant Group Accountant

Overview

I am excited to be partnering with a fast growing UK buisiness based in Leeds. They are actively seeking an Assistant Group Accountant to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone to really grow and develop.

Role

Support the Group Accountant in preparing and maintaining financial information, while gaining core accounting experience in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare VAT returns

Produce management accounts for group entities

Process invoices and intercompany transactions

Perform bank reconciliations and manage payments

Support cashflow reporting and debt tracking

Reconcile supplier and intercompany balances

Provide general finance support

Requirements

Entry-level or AAT trainee

Strong willingness to learn

Team-oriented and proactive

Basic accounting knowledge (preferred)
